Why normal videos stutter when you scroll
To save space, a video only stores a full picture every few seconds. Every frame in between is just the changes. When scrolling jumps to a random moment, the browser has to rebuild that frame from the last full picture, so it lags and jumps.
full picture changes only
- Drop a video. It stays on your computer. Your browser's own video hardware does the work.
- Preview it. Scroll the live preview and compare it with the original.
- Paste the code. Download the zip, drop the folder on your site and paste two lines.
